CAL26 is a visual universe only indicating months - and is therefore re-useable year after year •
~ • ~ ~ • Every year the calendar has a new name, something thats on my mind or an underlining of a state of the world perhaps ~ This year its called DARKNESS & LIGHT ~ I dont believe the two can exist without eachother… I need darkness to search for the light, to strive after it. To need it. To celebrate it. I need the light to exist & to let it overwhelm me and to make me long for the darkness, the rest, the withdrawal • there are so much of each these days, they are pushed forward, outlined because of the state of things. Darkness is often presented as the evil of the two, but I think that is a misinterpretation. I think the evil is what is presented to us in shear daylight, that we dont revolution against. Evil is not hidden in the dark. It is right there in front of us to see. And the darkness will be the aftermath where we gather our strength to come back stronger ~ that os one way to look at it… All of this runs through my mind as I draw. All of this goes into the CAL • 26 ~ thank you for reading
